Qualifying life events include: 

  • Birth/adoption/guardianship
  • Marriage
  • Divorce
  • Death
  • Gain/loss of coverage
  • Dependent reaching age 26
  • Employment status change (i.e., full-time, part-time)
  • Separation of employment

You can request a change in benefits by completing the Life Status Change Transaction within 31 days of the qualifying event. Create a Case in Workday.
